Yes, you can do this as follows:
Divide a parcel/region:
1.Right click on the ground.
2.Choose edit terrain.
3.Select the land.
4.With the left mouse button, drag a box of the size that you want the parcel to be.
5.Release the mouse button.
6.Click the button "Subdivide".
Combine (Join) parcels together:
1.Right click on the ground.
2.Choose edit terrain.
3.Select the land.
4.With the left mouse button, draw a box over the border of both parcels .
5.Release the mouse button.
6.Click in the menu on the button "Join".
No, you don't really need a group for your land / parcel.
But if you want to give rights to people you know,
you have to deed the land to a group (that you own preferably, for security reason).
You can do this in "About land" window. To open it:
Right click on the ground -> About Land..
In the General tab, click on the button "Set". Select the group.
Check the box "Allow Deed to Group", then
click on the button "Deed" and confirm.
Now the owner of the land should be the group and not you anymore.
Yes: you have to sell the land to yourself again, from the "About Land" window.
Right click on the ground -> About Land..
In the General tab, click on the button sell land. On step 1, please set L$ 0.
On step 2 you can sell the land to a particular person and type in your own name.
Now choose in step 3, "No, keep objects" and set the land for sale for you.
Now you just have to buy the land again and then you can deed it to another group.
The prims are evenly divided between the parcels.
If you want more prims, you can buy more parcel(s) in the same region, if available.
All your parcels must have the same owner or the same group, so the prims will add-up.
If the parcels are adjacent, you can also join them.
There are many reasons that can cause a lag.
- Internet connection
- PC performance
- Viewer lag
- Work on the grid (for example rolling restarts or server updates)
- Scripts or objects on the sim that are causing lag.
If you notice exessive lag, please let us know, and we will come to check.
Yes, the parcel needs to be deeded to a group.
The person who wants to set their Home Position on your parcel must be invited to the group that owns your parcel.
In the group, the person must be assigned to a role that is allowed to set Home Position.

You can add a payment partner (called a "Subtenant") with our payment system. Go to your payment box and click on it to get a menu. Click the "Tenant" option, and in the next menu, click "Add Tenant" button. Enter the name of the subtenant. That person is now allowed to pay your payment box.

Your remaining time will be transferred to the new region/parcel.

In a general manner, try to avoid it because it doesn't look very friendly to your neighbors, but yes you are allowed.
The walls should visually match the theme of the region and not be higher than 10 meters.
